1992 - Barcelona

Introduction
Olympics The first boycott-free games since 1972, Barcelona hosted the first badminton and women's judo competitions, and Spanish coxswain Carlos Front became the youngest Olympic competitor since 1900 at only eleven years old!
Paralympics Watched by millions, the Barcelona Games saw an amazing 279 world records set and an impressive 431 gold medals won. 65,000 people watched Heinz Frei of Switzerland beat 196 competitors in the wheelchair marathon.
